Graphs
The user can select bar, pie or line graphs to display the results of UFORE analysis, depending on
personal preference or need. The distribution of size classes, for instance, is easily grasped
from a bar graph, while species frequency can be displayed in a pie chart.
Tables
Some data are more easily understood when presented in tabular form. Carbon
sequestration and ozone removal, for example, can easily be presented with a table.

Maps
Results that have a significant spatial component are often best viewed in map format. UFORE
for Windows v. 1.0 has limited mapping capability, but future versions are being developed to
allow numerous map displays and analyses (e.g., water quantity and quality analyses; temperature
effects; mapping best locations to plant trees). Current mapping capabilities allow for functions
(e.g., carbon
sequestration) to be spatially displayed across a city.
Data files
UFORE results can also be obtained as raw data. These data files allow users the ability to
conduct analyses or graphing not possible inside UFORE for Windows. An "Export" button on the
results dialogue box makes it simple to export data for such purposes. |
